Tell us about your early life and childhood.
ActiveEdward: I was born and raised in El Centro, California. My childhood wasn’t easy, and I faced many struggles growing up. Those experiences shaped who I am today. Instead of letting my past define me negatively, I used it as motivation to create a better future for myself.
How did you discover your passion for tattooing?
ActiveEdward: Tattooing became more than a hobby it became my escape and my purpose. I dedicated countless hours to perfecting my craft and eventually turned my passion into a business. That’s how my private tattoo studio, Versatile & Riches, was born.

Opening my own studio was a huge milestone. I wanted to build a place where creativity and professionalism could come together. Through hard work and consistency, I’ve had the opportunity to tattoo celebrities, influencers, athletes, and content creators.
